Steel Cutting of 210K bulk carrier at SWS

SMC is pleased to report steel cutting of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. H1521 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, China. It is the last vessel from the series of four such bulk carriers ordered by CITIC Commodities, Singapore.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Hongkong flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 5th January 2022.

Launching of 2,700TEU container ship at YZJ

SMC is pleased to announce Launching Ceremony of Hull No. YZJ2015-2023 in New Yangzi Shipyard, China. the 2nd unit from the series of 3X2700 TEU Container SHIP ordered by SITC.

Vessels in the series are classed by class DNV-GL will be built to Hongkong flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 31st December 2020 according Contract.

Steel Cutting of 1,500 pax ropax at P&O Ferries

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of P&O ROPAX1500 vessels, Hull No. 19121007, 19121008 and 19121009 at GSI, China. The vessels were ordered by P&O Ferries.

The vessels will be classed by DNV-GL, and are scheduled to be delivered as follows: 19121007 on 23rd Sep 2022, 19121008 on 23rd Mar 2023 and delivery date of 19121009 to be confirmed.

Launching of 208DWT Bulk Carriers at XFS

SMC is pleased to announce vessel launched of mv “CL YULIN”, Hull No. H2017-1278 at Jiangsu Xinfu Shipbuilding, China, the eighth unit from the series of Ten 208,000 DWT bulk carriers ordered by China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co. Ltd., P.R. China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Liberia flag requirements.

Vessel launched on 24th September 2020.

Commencement in dock at STX

SMC is pleased to announce the Commencement of Hull No. S1923 in cock at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea, the second unit from a series of 2 x 49,800 DWT Class Crude Oil / Product Oil / Chemical Tanker ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd of Hong Kong.

Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore.

Keel Laying of 210K DWT Bulk Carrier at SWS

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. H1518 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, China. It is the first vessel from the series of four such bulk carriers ordered by CITIC, Singapore.

The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Hongkong flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 15th March 2021.2020.

Delivery of 325k VLOC at BSIC

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. Oc325K-10 at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, China. This is the first vessel in a series of two vessels ordered by U-Ming Marine Transport Corp.

The vessel is classed by DNV GL and built to Singapore flag requirements.

Departure of the vessel is scheduled for 11th September 2020.

Delivery of MV “YANGTZE SHANGHAI” 5,300 TEU container vessel

SMC is pleased to announce vessel delivery of 5,300 TEU container vessel, Hull No. H724 (mv “Yangtze shanghai”) at Changhong International Shipyard, China. the first unit from the series of two 5,300 TEU container vessel ordered by New Yangtze Navigation (Hongkong) Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Marshall Island flag requirements.

Vessel delivery on 9th September 2020.

Launching of 325K DWT VLOC at BSIC

SMC is pleased to announce launching of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. OC325K-5 at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, China. This is fifth vessel in a series of six vessels order by ICBC Merchants, China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements.

The vessel will be delivered on Nov.2020 as yard’s presently production schedule.
