Delivery of 64,000 DWT bulk carrier at Zhoushan Changhong
SMC is pleased to report the delivery of Hull No. CHB045, the second vessel of two 64,000 DWT bulk carrier at Zhoushan Changhong Shipyard.
All vessels in the series are classed by LR and will be built to MARSHALL flag requirements.
Delivery of Mandalay I – 2,339 TEU container vessel at Yangfan
SMC is pleased to report delivery ceremony in Zhejiang East Coast Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, China (Yangfan Shipyard), of mv ”Mandalay l”, Hull No.CV23H BS12, the eleventh unit from the series of twelve 2,339 TEU Container carriers ordered by Bernard Schulte, Germany and J.P.Morgan, US.
All vessels in the series are classed by Lloyd’s Register and will be built to Singapore flag requirements.
Launching of 82000 DWT bulk carrier at Chengxi Shipyard
SMC is pleased to report launching at Chengxi Shipyard (Jiangyin), China, of Hull No. CX0812A, the third unit from the series of four 82000 DWT bulk carriers ordered by Bank of Communication Finance Leasing, China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Marshall flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 11st Nov 2019.
August monthly Safaty Awards
At COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard the KARISH FPSO new build Hull project celebrated yet another successful month with no recordable incidents
The monthly awards are presented to supervision and workers for their exemplary efforts in making the work place safe, not just for themselves but for all involved. There are 15 recipients of awards each month, including the best and safest workers, team leaders and supervision, awards are also given for the most and best observations recorded from the workers.
The award ceremony also see’s the start of the upcoming monthly Safety campaign.
Steel cutting of 5,800 m3 LNG bunkering vessel at Keppel Nantong
SMC is pleased to report steel cutting at Keppel Nantong Shipyard, China of the hull No. H414, the 5,800 m3 LNG bunkering vessel ordered by Shturman Koshelev, Russia Federation.
The vessel will be classed by RMRS & BV and built to Russian Federation flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 20th December 2020.
Delivery of JY Hong Kong – 82,000 DWT bulk carrier at Chengxi Shipyard
SMC is pleased to report delivery at Chengxi Shipyard (Jiangyin), China of 2nd 82,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. CX0824B, the second unit from the series of four 82000 DWT Bulk carrier ordered by Bank of Communication Finance Leasing, China.
The vessel is classed by CCS and built to Marshall flag requirements.
Delivery of CL Yangzhou – 82,000 DWT bulk carrier at New Dayang
SMC is pleased to report delivery ceremony in Yangzhou New Dayang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, China, of MV “CL Yangzhou”, Hull No. DY 6001, the last unit from the series of five 82,000 DWT bulk carrier ordered by Sumec, China.
All vessels in the series are classed by NK.
Keel laying of 56,000 DWT chemical tanker at Chengxi Yangzhou
SMC is pleased to report keel laying at Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China, of NV “GW FORTUNE”, Hull No. CX5002, the second unit from the series of two 56,000 DWT chemical tankers ordered by Goldwin, Hong Kong.
The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Hongkong flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 11th March 2020.
Delivery of Landbridge Horizon – 308,000 DWT VLCC at DSIC
The Delivery and Naming Ceremony of Landbridge Horizon, Hull No. T308K-3, the second unit from the series of three 308,000 DWT crude oil tankers for Landbridge Holdings, Hong Kong was conducted on 6th August 2019 at Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co.
Representatives from all parties – LANDBRIDGE, DSIC, CSICL, CSOC, LR attended the ceremony.
The vessel was built to Hong Kong flag requirements and classed by China Classification Society.
Launching of 558 TEU container vessel at Haidong Shipyard
SMC is pleased to report Launching at Taizhou State-Owned shipyard Haidong Shipyard, China of “SPIL RUMI”, Hull No. HDBD-2018-002, the second unit from the series of two 558TEU container vessels ordered by SPIL, Indonesia.
The vessel is classed by ZC and built as domestic sailing vessel complying with China MSA requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 27th September 2019.
