Delivery of 174,000 m3 LNG Carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries
SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery for a 174,000 m3 LNG Carrier (Hull no. SN2596) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the vessel ordered by Astra 11 Limited, Bermuda.
The vessel was classed by ABS and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements and port of registry has been changed to Marseille upon delivery.
Launching of 64,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at NACKS
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying for a 64,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. NE446) under its supervision at Nantong COSCO Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co. Ltd, China. This is the second vessel in a series of two vessels ordered by OBE Ships Maritime SA Dubai, UAE.
The vessel will be classed by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai [NK] and built to Panama flag requirements,
scheduled to be delivered on 15 January 2025.
Keel Laying of 13,200 TEU Container Vessel at SHI
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying ceremony for an 13,200 TEU container vessel (Ship No.SN2628) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the eleventh vessel in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by Wan Hai Line Ltd, Taiwan.
The vessel will be classed by ABS & CR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 01 April 2025.
Steel Cutting of NOCC 7,000 PCTC at Longkou CIMC Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting ceremony for NOCC 7,000 PCTC
Hull No. H610 under its supervision at Longkou CIMC Shipyard, China. This is the First vessel in a series of three ordered by NOCC Norwegian Car Carriers AS.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Norway Flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30 November 2025.
Steel Cutting of 49,600 DWT Chemical/Production Oil Tanker at GSI
SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting of 49,600 DWT chemical/production oil tanker, Hull No. 23110025 at Guangzhou Shipbuilding International Co., Ltd. China. This is the first vessel in a series of 2 x 49,600 DWT chemical/production oil tanker ordered by Zhejiang Shipping (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 15 October 2025.
Launching of 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose Vessel at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony for a 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose Vessel (Hull No. CX9608) under its supervision at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the eighth vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 14 January 2025.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 16 June 2025.
Launching of 175,000 m3 LNG Carrier at Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony for a 175,000 m3 LNG Carrier (Hull No. X1475) under its supervision at Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard, China. This is the first vessel in a series of two.
The vessel will be classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Malta flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 14 November 2025.
Launching of 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at Hengli Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony for an 82,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. HN2008) under its supervision at Hengli Shipyard, China. This is the last vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Hairun Shipping Limited Company, China.
The vessel will be classed by NK Register and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30 December 2024.
Naming of 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at Hengli Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Naming Ceremony for an 82,000 DWT bulk carrier [BH POWER] under its supervision at Hengli Shipyard, China. This is the first vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Hairun Shipping Limited Company, China.
The vessel is classed by ABS Classification society and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery date of the vessel is 23 December 2024.
