Delivery of 325k VLOC at BSIC
SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. Oc325K-10 at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, China. This is the first vessel in a series of two vessels ordered by U-Ming Marine Transport Corp.
The vessel is classed by DNV GL and built to Singapore flag requirements.
Departure of the vessel is scheduled for 11th September 2020.
Delivery of MV “YANGTZE SHANGHAI” 5,300 TEU container vessel
SMC is pleased to announce vessel delivery of 5,300 TEU container vessel, Hull No. H724 (mv “Yangtze shanghai”) at Changhong International Shipyard, China. the first unit from the series of two 5,300 TEU container vessel ordered by New Yangtze Navigation (Hongkong) Co., Ltd.
The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Marshall Island flag requirements.
Vessel delivery on 9th September 2020.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements.
The vessel will be delivered on Nov.2020 as yard’s presently production schedule.

SMC is pleased to announce Launching Ceremony of MV” Hull No. YZJ2015-2013 in New Yangzi Shipyard, China, the 6th unit from the series of 6X2400 TEU Container SHIP ordered by SITC.
Vessels in the series are classed by class NK will be built to Hongkong flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th November 2020 according Contract.

The vessel will be classed by LR & CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements.
Commencement in dock at STX
SMC is pleased to announce the Commencement in Dock of Hull No. S1922 at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea, the first unit from a series of 2 x 49,800 DWT Class Crude Oil / Product Oil / Chemical Tanker ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd of Hong Kong.
Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore
Keel laying of 2,700 TEU container vessel at New Yangzi
SMC is pleased to report keel laying ceremony at New Yangzi Shipyard, China: of Hull No. YZJ2015-2024, the 3rd unit from the series of three 2,700 TEU container vessels ordered by SITC, China.
Vessels in the series are classed by DNV-GL and will be built to Hongkong flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 28th February 2021 according to shipbuilding contract.
Delivery of MV “SITC Nansha” – 2,400 TEU container vessel
SMC is pleased to report delivery ceremony in New Yangzi Shipyard, CHINA: of MV “SITC Nansha”, Hull No: YZJ2015-2012, the 5th unit from the series of six 2,400 TEU container vessels ordered by SITC. Delivery ceremony was held on 12th August.
Two vessels in the series are classed by DNV-GL Last Four are classed by Class-NK will be built to Hongkong flag requirements.
Keel laying of rail car carrier at Huangpu Wenchong
SMC is pleased to report Keel laying in Guangzhou Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd., China: of Hull No. H3089, the first unit from the series of 2 x 19,000 DWT rail car carrier ordered by SEABULK LLC USA.
All vessels in the series are classed by ABS and will be built to Marshall Island flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 25th March 2021.
