Steel Cutting of 119.9K DWT tanker at GSI

SMC is pleased to announce the Steel Cutting of 119,900 DWT crude/product oil tanker, Hull No. 20110005 at GSI, China. This is the second vessel in series of eight vessels ordered by Bank of Communications Financial leasing.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Marshall Islands flag requirements. Scheduled to be delivered on 31st March 2022.

Keel Laying of 110K DWT tanker at NTS

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 2 x 110,000 DWT crude /product oil tankers, Hull No. 0311109/10 in New Times Shipyard, China. These two vessels being simultaneously built for Bihar International, Jeddah, KSA.

Both vessels will be classed by ABS and built to Liberian Flag requirements. Deliveries are scheduled on 30th September 2021 & 15th October 2021.

Keel Laying of 50K DWT tanker vessel at NTS

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 2 x 50,000 DWT product oil /chemical tankers, Hull No. 04050004/05 in New Times Shipbuilding, China. These vessels are being simultaneously built for Bihar International, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Both vessels will be classed by ABS & built to Liberian Flag requirements. Deliveries are scheduled on 31st September 2021 & 15th October 2021

Delivery of FDD28K at CSSC Xingang

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of one unit 28,000 LT floating dry dock at CSSC Xingang Shipyard, China for dry tow to Turkey. The FDD was built to CCS rules requirements and purchased by Turkish Owner Ozata Shipyard, leaded by General Manager Mr Kerim Arabacioglu, in 2020.

Prior to dry tow the FDD disassembled by cutting into three pieces and the two end sections placed and secured on middle section. It will be assembled in water as per the Owner’s design upon arrival to Turkey after about one month journey from China to Turkey.

The FDD will be classed by RINA after completion of erection and commissioning works in Turkey.

Steel Cutting of 2,400 TEU container vessel at New Yangzi

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 2,400 TEU container vessel, Hull No. “YZJ2015-2001” at New Yangzi Shipyard, China. This is the first vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by SITC International Holdings, China.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Hongkong flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 28th February 2022

Delivery of VLOC 325K at BSIC

SMC is pleased to announce that Delivery Ceremony of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. OC325K-6 (mv “ORE ZHOUSHAN”) at Qingdao Beihai Shipyard, China. This is the last unit from a series of six VLOC325K ordered by ICBC&CMES, China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The vessel will be departure from BSIC on 17 March 2021.

Keel Laying of 174K LNG at SHI

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 174,000 m3 LNG, Hull No. SN 2336 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the first vessel in the series of 3 x 174,000 m3 LNG ordered by Meridian 23/24 & Jupiter 3 Limited.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. The vessel scheduled for delivery on 31 December 2021.

Steel Cutting of 62K MPV at Jinling Shipyard

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 62, 000 DWT MPV, Hull No. JLZ9200402 at Jinling Shipyard, China. This is the second unit from the series of four heavy lift multi-purpose vessels ordered by China Merchants.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Hongkong flag requirements. The vessel scheduled for delivery on 20 January 2022.

Launching of 49.8K DWT tanker at STX

SMC is pleased to announce Launching of 49,800 DWT class crude oil / product oil / chemical tanker, Hull No. S1923 at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea. This is the second unit from a series of two MR tankers ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd of Hong Kong.

Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore.
