Steel Cutting of 13,200 TEU Container at SHI

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 13,200 TEU container vessel, Hull No. SN2428 at Samsung Heavy Industries Shipyard, Korea. This is the first vessel in a series of eight vessels ordered by Wan Hai Lines, Taipei.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Singapore flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 18th October 2022.

Keely Laying of 2,400 TEU container at NYZ

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 2,400 TEU container vessel, Hull No. N2002 at New Yangzi Shipbuilding, China. This is the third vessel in a series of five x 2,400/2,700 TEU vessels ordered by SITC Shipping Management Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Hong Kong flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 28th February 2022.

Steel Cutting of 49.8K DWT MR tanker at STX

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 49,800 DWT class crude oil/product oil/ chemical tanker, Hull No. S1925 at K Shipbuilding, Korea. This is the fourth vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International Ltd. of Hong Kong.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Marshall Islands flag requirements with delivery scheduled for 2022.

Keel Laying of 119.9k DWT crude/product oil tanker at GSI

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 119,900 DWT DF crude/product oil tanker, Hull No. 20110003 at Guangzhou International Shipyard, China. This the first vessel in series of eight vessels ordered by Xiang T127 HK international ship leasing Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Marshall Islands flag requirements. Scheduled to be delivered on 22nd April 2022.

Delivery of 19K DWT RCC at HWS

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 19,000 DWT rail car carrier, Hull No. H3090 (mv “MAYAN”) at Guangzhou Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard, China. This is the second unit from the series of 2 x 19,000 DWT rail car carrier ordered by SEABULK LLC USA.

All vessels in the series are classed by ABS and will be built to Marshall Island flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 22nd September 2021.

Schulte Marine Concept and DM Consulting pool expertise to offer Floating Dry Dock Acquisition Services

Shanghai and San Diego — Schulte Marine Concept (SMC), the newbuilding arm of the Schulte Group, and dry dock experts DM Consulting (DMC) announce a partnership to jointly offer seamless end-to-end services to clients acquiring newbuilding and second-hand floating dry docks (FDD). The range of services offered under this partnership include project development, execution, and operations phases.

Combining SMC’s newbuilding management consultancy expertise with USA-based DM Consulting’s dry dock operational and maintenance experience, clients are offered technical support across the complete lifecycle of FDD acquisitions and operations.

This includes yard selection and audit, review and negotiation of technical specifications and shipbuilding contracts, plan approval and construction supervision, second-hand FDD pre-purchase inspections, life extension work and facility upgrade services during project development and execution, and first dry docking support, operational training and certifications.

The duo will be involved during the entire project and combine their expertise and experience to ensure the FDD meets and performs to the agreed specifications. They will also combine their knowledge to procure and upgrade to client specifications second-hand FDDs and ready them for operation.

SMC is a trusted technical partner for newbuilding and second-hand acquisition projects across a wide range of marine vessel types. Operational since 1973, the company has worked with a number of clients on over 600 newbuilding, conversion and retrofit projects, including FDDs, built across shipyards worldwide from China, Korea and Japan to Europe and other shipbuilding markets. This is the fourth/fifth vessel in series of eight vessels ordered by Xiang T130 HK international ship leasing Co., Ltd/ Xiang T131 HK international ship leasing Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by ABS /DNV and CCS and built to Marshall Islands flag requirements. Scheduled to be delivered on 20th Nov 2022/25th Nov 2022.

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 49,900 DWT chemical/product oil tanker, Hull No.20110038 at Guangzhou International Shipyard, China. This is the second vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by White Whale Shipping Holding Ltd., Germany.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Hongkong flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 16th September 2022.
