Steel Cutting of 174,000 CBM LNG Carrier at HHI

SMC is delighted to disclose the Steel Cutting of 174,000 m3 LNG carrier, Hull No. 3321 at Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea. This vessel was ordered by Global Meridian Holdings Limited.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled on 18 August, 2025.

Steel Cutting of 37,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at DSIC

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 37,000 DWT LakeMax General Cargo, Hull No. BC37K-6 at DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., China. The vessel is the sixth in a series of twelve ordered by Polsteam, Poland.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Malta flag requirements. It is scheduled to be delivered on 18 March, 2025.

Keel Laying of 13,200 TEU Container at SHI

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 13,200 TEU container vessel, Hull No. SN2627 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the tenth in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by Wanhai Line Ltd, Taiwan.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CR and built to Singapore flag requirements. It is scheduled for delivery on 5 September, 2024.

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 63,600 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. N1162 at COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Zhoushan, China. This vessel is the first in a series of four ordered by Yasa Shipmanagement & Trading S.A., Turkey.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Marshall flag requirements. It is scheduled for delivery on 16 January, 2025.

SMC is delightful to announce Steel Cutting of 211,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. N1158 at COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou), China. This vessel is the second in a series of two ordered by Xiehai Bulk Shipping Pte. Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Singapore flag requirements. It is scheduled for delivery at end of February 2025.

Since its inception in 2015, our PAL-NB software has been instrumental in streamlining process management and progress monitoring of new building and conversion projects, earning high praise from both our supervision teams and clients.

PAL-NB Mobile: Revolutionizing Site Supervision

In our continuous pursuit of HSE enhancement, innovation and performance quality and efficiency, we’ve developed the PAL-NB mobile application with the aim of further automating and standardizing the supervision process and enhancing process compliance by site inspectors. The app is designed with several key objectives:

  • minimizing manual effort with preparation of Safety and Quality NCRs
  • facilitating the creation of Safety and Quality NCRs drafts directly from mobile devices on site
  • enabling automatic uploading of inspection photographs to PAL-NB system
  • minimizing the use of multiple devices
  • reducing screen time.

The vessel was classed by ABS and built to Singapore flag requirements. And delivered on 29 March, 2024.

Delivery Ceremony of 63,500 DWT Bulk Carrier at CXS

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery ceremony of 63,500 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. CX0682 (mv “Pacific Violet”) at Chengxi Shipbuilding, China. This is the fifth in a series of eight vessels ordered by Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to the flag of Marshall Islands, and delivered on 29 March, 2024.

Keel Laying of 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at NHT

SMC is pleased to announce the Keel Laying of an 82,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. HT82-286 at Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, China. This vessel is the first in a series of four ordered by Scion Shipping & Trading, Germany.

The vessel will be classed by LR classification requirements and is scheduled for delivery on 06 July, 2024.
