Keel laying of 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at Hengli Shipyard

SMC is pleased to announce the keel laying of 82000DWT Bulk Carrier, Hull No. HN2008 at the Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd, Liaoning province, China. This is the fourth vessel in a series of four x BC82K vessels ordered by Fortune Ocean Shipping Limited, China.

The vessel was classed by NK and built to Singapore flag requirements.

Keel laying of BC 63.6K

SMC is pleased to announce the Keel laying of 63.6K Bulk carrier, Hull No. N1141 Ship name: EMERALD JINTANG & IMO:9991525 at COSCO SHPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) CO., Limited. This is the second vessel in a series of three vessels ordered by Hong Kong Zhoushan Yihai Shipping Co., Limited.

The vessel was classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements, and is scheduled to be delivered on 4th November 2024.

Steel Cutting of 13200 TEU CONTAINER VESSEL at SHI

SMC is pleased to announce the steel cutting of Container Vessel 13,200 TEU, Ship No. SN2629 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the twelfth vessel in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by WANHAI LINE LTD, TAIWAN.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and is built to Singapore flag requirements, and scheduled to be delivered on 04th June 2025.

Delivery of 63.6k BC at COSCO (Zhoushan)

SMC is pleased to announce the delivery of vessel 63.6K DWT BC, Hull No. N1091 at COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Zhoushan China. This is the sixth vessel in a series of eight vessels ordered by the Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. Shanghai, China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and is built to Liberia flag requirements, and scheduled to be delivered on 6th June 2024.

Steel Cutting of 65,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at SHGSIC

SMC is pleased to announce the steel cutting of Bulk Carrier 65,000 DWT, Hull No. B65K-10 at Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry CO. LTD., China. This is the last vessel in a series of ten vessels ordered by CITIC Financial Leasing Co., LTD, China.

The vessel was classed by CCS and built to China flag requirements.

Steel Cutting of 174K LNG at SHI

SMC is pleased to announce the steel cutting of 174K LNGC, SN 2641 , Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the vessel ordered by Tropic 14 Limited.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to the flag of Republic of Liberia, and is scheduled to delivery on the 16th of October 2025.

SMC awarded 17 vessels by Pertamina

SMC is excited to announce the signing of an agreement with PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), to provide plan approval and site supervision services for its 17 newbuilding vessels at HMD, Korea, including 15 units of MR tankers and 2 units of LPG carriers. 

The plan approval of both projects began immediately following the signing of the agreement. The Shipbuilding Contract was signed in January 2024, the project started in May and will finish in December 2026. 

SMC is very honored to have the opportunity to cooperate with PIS and to bring its experience and knowledge to the projects with its extensive experience with MR tankers and LPG carriers and with HMD.

Currently, SMC has 13 projects (63 vessels in total) running Korean shipyards, including chemical/product tankers, LPG carriers, LNG carriers, containers.

Delivery of 7,000 DWT Container Vessel at SWS

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 7,000 TEU container vessel, Hull No. H1534 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., China. This is the last vessel in a series of 12 vessels ordered by Sea Consortium Pte. Ltd., Singapore.

The vessel has been classed by ABS and built to Singapore flag requirements.

 

Launching of 63,600 DWT Bulk Carrier at COSCO (Zhoushan)

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose vessel, Hull No. CX9604 at CSSC Chenxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the fourth vessel in a series of 12 MPV ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 30 September, 2024.
