Delivery/Naming Ceremony of 63,600 DWT Bulk Carrier at COSCO Zhoushan
SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery/Naming Ceremony for a 63,600 DWT bulk carrier vessel which was named “AVRA” under its supervision at COSCO Zhoushan, China.
This vessel was delivered to Full Moon Maritime SA and will be classed by LR and build to BAHAMAS Flag requirements.
Steel Cutting of 14,000 DWT Multi-Purpose Vessel at TZSF Shipyard.
SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 14,000 DWT multi-purpose vessel (Hull No. SF230206) under its supervision at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co., Ltd, China. This is the third vessel in a series of ten vessels ordered by KREY SCHIFFAHRTS GMBH & CO. KG. & AUERBACH SCHIFFAHRTS GMBH & CO. KG. & Vineta GMBH.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Marshall Islands requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
Launching of 50,000 DWT Class MR Oil/Chemical Tanker at HD Hyundai MiPo Co., Ltd.
SMC is pleased to announce the Launching of 50,000 DWT class MR oil/chemical tanker (Hull No. H2916) at HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd., Korea. This is the fifth vessel in a series of five vessels ordered by PT Pertamina International Shipping, Indonesia.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Panama flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 06 January 2026.
Delivery/Naming Ceremony of 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose Vessel at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard.
SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery/Naming Ceremony for a 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel [AN FU] under its supervision at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the last vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to LIBERIA flag requirements.
Keel Laying of 114,000 DWT Product/Crude Oil Tanker at SWS Shipyard.
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying Ceremony for a 114,000 DWT product/crude oil tanker under its supervision at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., China.
The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Marshall Island flag requirements, and the vessel is scheduled to be delivered in 2026.
Delivery of 174,000 m³ LNG Carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries.
SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery for 174,000 m³ LNG carrier (Hull no. SN2639) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the vessel ordered by Gemini 13 Limited, Bermuda.
The vessel was classed by ABS, built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements.

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 63,500 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. JSHT329) under its supervision at Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four ordered by Amoysailing Group Limited.
The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 23 April 2026.

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 50,000 DWT class MR oil/chemical tanker (Hull No. H2918) at HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd., Korea. This is the second vessel in a series of ten vessels ordered by Pertamina International Shipping, PTE. LTD. Singapore.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Panama flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 27 February 2026.
Keel Laying of 40,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying ceremony for a 40,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. HCY260) under its supervision at Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, China. This is the second vessel in a series of two ordered by Athenai Management Service Ltd.
The vessel will be classed by NK and built to Panama flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 15 April 2026.
Launching Ceremony of 22,000 Mton Lifting Capacity Floating Dry Dock at HuaRun Dadong Dockyard Co. Ltd.
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony of a 22,000 Mton lifting capacity floating dry dock (Hull Number VB0029A) under its supervision at HuaRun Dadong Dockyard Co. Ltd, China. The dock is being built for Tenerife Shipyard, part of the Hidramar Group, under the Spanish flag, and its final location will be the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands).
The dock will be classed by LR and is scheduled to be delivered in January 2026.
