The vessel will be classed by CCS Register and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 31 July 2026.

Launching of 50,000 DWT Class Oil/Chemical Tanker at HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd.
SMC is pleased to announce the Launching of 50,000 DWT class oil / chemical tanker, Hull No. 2915 at HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd., Korea. This is the fourth vessel in a series of five vessels ordered by PT Pertamina International Shipping, Indonesia.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Panama flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 25 November 2025.
Launching of 130,000 TLC Floating Dry Dock at Qingdao Beihai Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching for a 130,000 TLC floating dry dock (Hull No. FDD120K-1) under its supervision at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., China. This is the second floating dry dock in a series of two ordered by Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited, Bahamas.
The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Bahamas flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 07 February 2026.
Delivery Event of 174,000 m³ LNGC at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries
SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery for a 174,000 m³ LNG carrier (Orion Hugo) under its supervision at Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the sixth vessel in a series of seven ordered by Pola 14 Limited.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements.
Keel Laying (Block Assembly) of 22,000 Mton Lifting Capacity Floating Dry Dock at HuaRun Dadong Dockyard Co. Ltd.
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying of a 22,000 Mton lifting capacity floating dry dock (Hull No. VB0029A) under its supervision at HuaRun Dadong Dockyard Co. Ltd, China. The dock is being built for Tenerife Shipyard, part of the Hidramar Group, under the Spanish flag, and its final location will be the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands).
The dock will be classed by LR and is scheduled to be delivered in January 2026.
Keel Laying of 40,500 DWT Bulk Carrier at Jiangmen Nanyang Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying event of a 40,500 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. JNS219) under its supervision at Jiangmen Nanyang Shipyard China. This is the second in a series of four vessels ordered by shipowner Messrs. Rongtua holding, China.
The vessel will be classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 28 October 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting of the first 500 TEU container vessel (Ship No. SF240311) under its supervision at Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., China. This is the first vessel ordered by TCI Seaways – A Division of Transport Corporation of India Limited, in a series of two vessels which will be built to KR Classification.
The delivery of the vessel is scheduled to commence in July 2026.
