SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 36,880 DWT LakeMax General Cargo (Hull No. BC37K-8) under its supervision at DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., China. This is the eighth vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Polsteam, Poland.

The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Portugal flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 01 September 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Launching for 174,000 m³ LNG Carrier (Hull no. SN2634) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the vessel ordered by Astra 20 Limited, Bermuda.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 16 April 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying Ceremony for a 93,500 TLC floating dry dock (Hull No. FDD93.5K-1) under its supervision at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., China. This is the first FDD in a series of two ordered by Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited, Bahamas.

The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Bahamas flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 07 August 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery of a 174,000 m3 LNG carrier [Orion Iris] under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the fourth vessel in a series of six vessels ordered by Bermuda based companies.

The vessel is classed by ABS and built to Liberia flag requirements.

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 49,800 DWT methanol dual fuel chemical/product oil tanker (Hull No. 23110051) under its supervision at Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd, China. This is the second vessel in a series of six ordered by Bermuda based companies.

The vessel will be classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 21 November 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery Ceremony for a 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel [YUAN FU] under its supervision at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the 2nd vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Liberia flag requirements.

SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying Ceremony for an 82,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. HT82-288) under its supervision at Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four ordered by Scion Shipping & Trading, GmbH & Co. KG.

The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 12 January 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 50,000 DWT chemical tanker (Hull No. HQ809) under its supervision at Global Shipbuilding Yangzhou, China. This is the first vessel in a series of two ordered by Hongkong Zhong Peng Freight Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled on 11 October 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce Keel Laying Ceremony for a 62,000DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel (Hull No. CX9608) under its supervision at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the eighth vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled on 04 January 2025.

SMC is delighted to announce Keel Laying of a 174,000 m³ LNG carrier (Hull No. 3321) under its supervision at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea. This vessel ordered by Polar 15 Limited.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 25 July 2025.
