Steel Cutting of No. B310
Crist Shipyard Gdynia in Poland: steel cutting ceremony of Hull No. B310, the second steel cutting for the series of 2 x 3,200 DWT Service Offshore Vessel ordered by Bernhard Schulte with following principal particulars: LOA = 88.0m, LBP=73.00, B (MLD) = 18.00m, Depth (from MD) = 8.00m, D s/d =6.4/6.0m.
The vessel designed in Ulstein SY as Offshore Wind Farm Service Vessel, will arranged for totally 60 person on board (POB), with storage, workshops, meeting rooms, cinema. Service speed of 13.5 knots propelled by 2 Azimuth units, each one driven by a frequency controlled electrical motor. Vessel will be equipped with 2 tunnel thrusters and one retractable Azimuth thruster on for part of vessel. FMEA-analysis for DP 2 approved by IMCA members.
All vessels in the series are classed by DNV and will be built to Gibraltar flag. Classification notes: DnV 1A1, SF, E0, Offshore service vessel, DYNPOS AUTR, CLEAN DESIGN, COMF-V (3)C(3), DK(+), BIS, NAUT-AW. LCS-DC, BMW-T, HELDK.
Delivery of mv “Sti Lombard”
SMC is pleased to report Delivery in DSME/Daehan Shipyard, Korea: of mv ”Sti Lombard”, Hull No. 5403, the fourth unit from the series of 4 x 114,900 DWT Crude oil/ Product tankers ordered by Prime Tanker Management Inc., Greece.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 255.9m, B = 43.0m, D = 21.2m, T d/s = 13.6/15.1m. Propelled by MAN B&W 6G60ME-C9.2 with Energy saving rudder bulb and developing 9,100 KW x 71.9 rpm at NCR the vessel will operate at the speed of 14.5 knots. All vessels in the series are classed by DNV-GL and will be built to Marshall Islands flag requirements.

Launching and Naming Ceremony of MV “INTERLINK PROBITY”
SMC is pleased to report the Launching and Naming Ceremony in Huatai Heavy Industry Co. Ltd, Nantong, China: of MV ”INTERLINK PROBITY”, Hull No. H0019, the third vessel in the series of 8 x 38,500 DWT Bulk Carriers ordered by Interlink Maritime Corp., Bermuda.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 179.95 m, B = 32.00 m, D = 15.00 m, T d/s = 9.50 m/10.50 m. Propelled by MAN 5S50ME-B9.3-Tier II engine with Part Load tuning, EGB and developing 4575 KW x 89.9 rpm at NCR, the vessel will operate at a service speed of 13.70 knots. All vessels in the series are classed by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and are built to Marshall Islands flag requirements.

The launching and naming ceremony was carried out by the godmother Ms. Jodi Morecroft in the presence of Mr. Paul Gurtler, President, Interlink Maritime Corp., Mr. Ashoke Dey, Dy. MD, SMC, site office and class representatives.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for November 2015.
Launching of mv “Torm Timothy”
SMC is pleased to report launching of M/T “Torm Timothy”, Hull No. S3092 in Sungdong Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., South-Korea. This is the second vessel launching from the series of 6 x 50,000 DWT Product/ Chemical tanker (IMO Type: II) ordered by Breakwater Capital.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 183.0m, B = 32.2m, D = 19.1m, T d/s = 11.0/13.3m. Propelled by MAN B&W 6G50ME-B9.3 with ECT Part Load tuning and developing 6,219 KW x 83.9 rpm at NCR the vessel will operate at the speed of 15 knots. All vessels in the series are classed by Lloyd’s Register and will be built to Singapore flag requirements.

Keel Laying of No. S1224
SMC is pleased to report Keel Laying Ceremony in Sungdong Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., South-Korea: of MV “RB JORDANA”, Hull No. S1224. This is the first Keel Laying from the series of 5 x 82,000 DWT class Bulk Carrier ordered by RB Shipping Ltd.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 229.0m, B = 32.26m, D = 20.2m, T d/s = 12.20/14.55m. Propelled by MAN B&W 5G60ME-C9.2 and developing 8610 kW x 78.0 rpm at SMCR, the vessel will operate at the speed of 14.0 knots. All vessels in the series are classed by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai(NKK) and will be built to Marshall Island flag requirements.

Delivery of mv “Stella Lucy”, Hull No. BC18.0-57
SMC is pleased to report Delivery in Beihai Shipbuilding & Heavy Engineering Co Ltd, Qingdao, PRC: of mv “Stella Lucy”, Hull No. BC18.0-57, the last unit from the series of 2 x 180,000DWT Bulk Carriers ordered by Ever Stella Shipping Investment Limited.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 295.0m, B = 46.0m, D = 24.8m, Draft (d/s) = 16.5m/18.1m. Propelled by MAN B&W 6G70ME-C9.2 TIER II part load – ECT and developing SMCR 14,875kW at 70.5rpm or CSR 11,900kW at 65.4rpm the vessel will operate at the speed of 14.5 knots. Both vessels in the series are classed by China Classification Society and were built to Singapore flag requirements.

Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 180.0 m, B = 32.0 m, D = 15.0 m, T d/s = 9.5/10.5 m. Propelled by MAN 5S50ME-B9.3 Tier II engine and developing 4575 KW x 89.9 rpm at CSR the vessel will operate at the speed of 14 knots at 9.50 draft. The construction commenced with Steel Cutting on 08th April 2014 followed by the erection starting in slipway on 25th Nov 2014. The Ship launched on 06th Feb 2015 and the sea trial completed successfully on 26th June 2015. BSM, HK took delivery of ship after Delivery Signing Ceremony on 08th July 2015 which is attended by LR Surveyors, SMC Site Team and Shipyard representatives.”
