SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting ceremony for a 50,000 DWT chemical oil tanker (Hull No. HCY-301) under its supervision at Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., China. This is the second vessel in a series of two ordered by New Legend Shipping Logistics Group Co., Ltd., China.
The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 15 May 2026.
