SMC is pleased to report launching ceremony in Zhoushan Changhong Shipyard Co., Ltd, China, Hull No. CHB044, 64,000 DWT Bulk Carrier.

All vessels in the series are classed by LR and will be built to MARSHALL flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th June 2019.

SMC is pleased to report : The Delivery of Hull No. TK1029, FLORA SCHULTE was carried out at 0958 hours LT on 12^th April 2019 in Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, China in the presence of representatives from Owners, SMC and Lloyd’s Register. This is the first unit from a series of 4 X GREEN DOLPHIN 38,500 DWT Bulk Carriers ordered by Bernhard Schulte GmBH.

The vessel is classed by LR and built to the Singapore flag requirements.

SMC is pleased to report Keel Laying Ceremony in New Yangzi Shipyard, CHINA: of MV” Hull No: YZJ2015-2020, the first unit from the series of six 2,400 TEU container ships ordered by SITC.

Two vessels in the series are classed by DNV-GL, and the other four are classed by NK, and will be built to Hongkong flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 21th October 2019.

SMC is pleased to report steel cutting at Chengxi Shipyard (Jiangyin) Co., Ltd of 1st 82000 DWT Bulk carrier, Hull No. CX0824B. The second unit form the series of four 82000 DWT Bulk carrier order by Bank of Communication Finance Leasing Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Marshall flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 26th Aug 2019.

SMC is pleased to report Launching Ceremony in Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard of Hull No. GWS487, the 2nd 1,700 TEU Container Vessel ordered by CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company Limited. Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 172.0m, B = 27.4m, D = 13.8m, T d/s = 8.5/9.5m. Propelled by Wartsila 6RT-flex58T-E Tier II with low load tuning and developing 12,204 kW x 101.4 r/min @ CSR. The vessel will operate at the speed of 19.65 knots at the designed draft of 8.50 m. The vessel is classed by Germanischer Lloyd and will be built to Singapore flag requirements.
Classification notes: +100A5 Container Ship, DG, BWM(D2), RSD, IW, NAV, EP-D, LC MC, AUT.
Vessel is scheduled for delivery on June 28, 2016.

SMC is pleased to report Naming and Delivery Ceremony in Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group LTD, China of mv “ORE NINGBO”, Hull No. YZJ2015-2274, the sixth unit from the series of 6 x 400,000 DWT VLOC ordered by ICBC Leasing & Hong Kong Ming Wah Shipping Co., Ltd.

SMC is pleased to report : The Launching of Hull No. TK1030 was carried out at 1500 hours LT on 21^st March 2019 in Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, China in the presence of representatives from SMC and Lloyd’s Register. This is the second unit from a series of 4 X GREEN DOLPHIN 38,500 DWT Bulk Carriers ordered by Bernhard Schulte GmBH.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to the Singapore flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled on 12^th April 2019.

SMC is pleased to report keel laying in Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., LTD (DSIC) on 20th March 2019 China, Hull No. T308K-2, the third unit from a series of 3 x 308 000 dwt VLCC (Crude Oil Tanker) ordered by Landbridge Holdings, Hong Kong.

Vessel is classed by BV and will be built to Hong Kong flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 18th January 2020.

SMC is pleased to report Delivery  Ceremony in  New Dayang shipbuilding Co.,Ltd., Yangzhou city, China: of  ”CL TAIZHOU ”, Hull No.DY 6005, the third unit from the series of 5 x 82K  Bulk carrier ordered by Sumec . Yangzhou New Dayang Shipbuilding Co., – Ltd., Yangzhou City, PRC,

All vessels in the series are classed by ClassNK’s Register.

SMC is pleased to report Launching at Jiangsu Xinfu Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. Jiangsu, P.R. China, of Hull No. H2017-1271, the first unit from the series of Ten 208,000 DWT Bulk Carriers ordered by China Development Bank Leasing Co. Ltd., P.R. China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Liberia flag requirements.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 19th June 2019.
