Delivery of SPIL RATNA – 558 TEU container vessel at Haidong Shipyard
SMC is pleased to report delivery at Taizhou State-Owned shipyard Haidong Shipyard, China of “SPIL RATNA”, Hull No. HDBD-2018-001, the first unit from the series of two 558TEU containers ordered by SPIL, Indonesia.
The vessel will be classed by ZC and built as domestic sailing vessel complying with China MSA requirements.
Keel laying of 308,000DWT VLCC at DSIC
SMC is pleased report that the keel laying of Hull No T308k-4 has been successfully carried out on 02nd July 2019 at Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. China. The 308,000 DWT VLCC is ordered by CSIC Leasing, China.
The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Hong Kong flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is schedule for 30th March 2020.
Two Million man hours celebration
At COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard, the KARISH FPSO new build Hull project celebrated the successful completion of 2 million-man hours without a Lost Time Incident.
The celebration coincided with the monthly safety awards and monthly safety campaign kick-off, apart from the usual monthly prizes for safety excellence, Back packs and T-shirts carrying the logos of all involved were distributed to the workforce and management in appreciation of the hard work and dedication that went in to achieving this world class milestone.
Delivery of JY Pacific – 82,000 DWT bulk carrier at Chengxi
SMC is pleased to report delivery at Chengxi Shipyard (Jiangyin), China, of MV “JY Pacific”, Hull No. CX0811A, the first unit form the series of four 82,000 DWT bulk carrier order by Bank of Communication Finance Leasing Co., Ltd, China.
The vessel is classed by CCS and built to Marshall flag requirements.
Delivery of Friedrich Schulte – 8,500 DWT bulk carrier at Taizhou Kouan
SMC is pleased to report the delivery of “Friedrich Schulte” on 25th June 2019 in Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, China in the presence of representatives from ship owner, SMC and LR. This is the second unit from a series of four green dolphin 38,500 DWT bulk carriers ordered by Bernhard Schulte GmBH, Germany.
The vessel is classed by LR and built to the Singapore flag requirements.
The ship is expected to sail out from yard on 28th June 2019.
Delivery of CL Rhine River – 208,000 DWT bulk carrier at Yangzi Xinfu
SMC is pleased to report delivery at Jiangsu Xinfu Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Jiangsu, China, of “CL Rhine River”, Hull No. H2017-1271, the first unit from the series of ten 208,000 DWT bulk carriers ordered by China Development Bank Financial Leasing, China.
The vessel is classed by ABS and built to Liberia flag requirements.
Delivery of VLCC at DSME
Schulte Marine concept is pleased to report the delivery ceremony at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., Korea, Hull No. 5453, 318,000 TDW VLCC ordered by AEOLOS Management S.A of Embiricos Group.
The scrubber system to the exhaust gas SOx emissions will be installed for ME, G/E(I & II).
The vessel is classed by American Bureau of Shipping with Liberia flag.
Steel cutting of 325,000 DWT VLOC at BSIC
SMC is pleased to report steel cutting at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., LTD., China, Hull No. OC325K-11, the second unit from the series of two 325,000 DWT VLOCs ordered by U-MING Marine Transport Corp, Taiwan.
The vessel will be classed by DNV GL and built to Singapore flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th September 2020.
Steel cutting of 82,000 DWT bulk carrier at Chengxi Shipyard
SMC is pleased to report steel cutting at Chengxi Shipyard (Jiangyin) Co., Ltd of Hull No. CX0825B, the fourth unit from the series of four 82,000 DWT bulk carriers order by Bank of Communication Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Marshall flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th June 2020.
Steel cutting of 63,500 DWT bulk carrier at New Dayang
SMC is pleased to report the steel cutting of Hull No. DY4067 at New Dayang Shipbuilding, China. The owner represented by Capt. Aaron, Ship Management Director did the honors. This is the seventh and the last units in the series of eight 63,500 DWT crown design geared bulk carriers being built at this yard for the owners AVIC International Leasing, China. AVIC is a Chinese state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate.
The vessels will be classed by BV and built to Marshal flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 6th May 2020.
