Keel Laying Ceremony of 82K Multi-purpose Vessel at CXS
SMC is pleased to announce the keel laying of 62K Heavy-lift Multi-purpose vessel, Hull No. CX9605 at CSSC CHENXI SHIPYARD (YANGZHOU), Jiangsu province, China. This is the fifth vessel in a series of twelve x MPV62K vessels ordered by the Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co.,Ltd,China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to LIBERIA flag requirements, and is scheduled to be delivered on 21st October 2024.
Launching of 13,200 TEU CONTAINER VESSEL at SHI
SMC is pleased to announce the launching of 13,200 TEU CONTAINER VESSEL, Ship No. SN2627 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the tenth vessel in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by WANHAI Lines Ltd, Taiwan.
The vessel will be classed by ABS and CR and built to Singapore flag requirements, and is scheduled to be delivered on 05th September 2024.

SMC is pleased to announce the delivery of 13,200 TEU CONTAINER VESSEL, Ship No. SN2626 (WANHAI A16, IMO No.: 9968516) at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the ninth vessel in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by WANHAI Lines Ltd, Taiwan.
The vessel was classed by ABS & CR and built to Singapore flag requirements, delivered on 12th June 2024.
Launching of 82000DWT bulk carrier at JHSHI
SMC is pleased to inform that the launching of 82KDWT bulk carrier with Hull number HT82-286 at Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry CO., Ltd. China has been done on 12th June 2024 at 08:00hrs CST. This the first in series of four vessels ordered by Scion Shipping & Trading.
The vessel will be classed by LR classification requirements. Launching images along with class certificate are attached for your reference.

SMC is pleased to announce the keel laying of 82000DWT Bulk Carrier, Hull No. HN2008 at the Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd, Liaoning province, China. This is the fourth vessel in a series of four x BC82K vessels ordered by Fortune Ocean Shipping Limited, China.
The vessel was classed by NK and built to Singapore flag requirements.

SMC is pleased to announce the Keel laying of 63.6K Bulk carrier, Hull No. N1141 Ship name: EMERALD JINTANG & IMO:9991525 at COSCO SHPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) CO., Limited. This is the second vessel in a series of three vessels ordered by Hong Kong Zhoushan Yihai Shipping Co., Limited.
The vessel was classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements, and is scheduled to be delivered on 4th November 2024.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and is built to Singapore flag requirements, and scheduled to be delivered on 04th June 2025.

SMC is pleased to announce the delivery of vessel 63.6K DWT BC, Hull No. N1091 at COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Zhoushan China. This is the sixth vessel in a series of eight vessels ordered by the Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. Shanghai, China.
The vessel will be classed by ABS and is built to Liberia flag requirements, and scheduled to be delivered on 6th June 2024.
Steel Cutting of 65,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at SHGSIC
SMC is pleased to announce the steel cutting of Bulk Carrier 65,000 DWT, Hull No. B65K-10 at Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry CO. LTD., China. This is the last vessel in a series of ten vessels ordered by CITIC Financial Leasing Co., LTD, China.
The vessel was classed by CCS and built to China flag requirements.
