Delivery of mv “World Voyager” at West Sea

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 200 Pax Explorer Vessel (mv” World Voyager”) at West Sea Shipyard, Portugal. This is the second 200 Pax Explorer Vessel from a series of six vessels built for Mystic Cruises, Portugal.

The vessel was classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Madeira flag requirements.

Delivery of 39K bulk carrier (mv “FRANZ SCHULTE”) at TKS

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 39,900 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. TK1031 (mv “FRANZ SCHULTE”) at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Bernhard Schulte, Germany.

The vessel was classed by LR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The naming ceremony was held on 23 October 2020.

Delivery of mv “Franz Schulte” – 39k DWT bulk carrier

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 39,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. TK1031 (mv “Franz Schulte”), at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Bernhard Schulte, Germany.

The vessel was classed by LR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The naming ceremony was held on 23rd October 2020.

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 2,700 TEU container vessel, Hull No: YZJ2015-2022 (mv “Port Klang”) at New Yangzi Shipyard, China. the 1st unit from the series of three 2,700 TEU container vessels ordered by SITC, China.

Keel Laying of 210K DWT bulk carrier at SWS

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. H1519 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, China. It is the second vessel from the series of four such bulk carriers ordered by CITIC Commodities, Singapore.

The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Hongkong flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th April 2021.

Commencement in dock at STX

SMC is pleased to announce the Commencement of Hull No. S1923 in cock at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea, the second unit from a series of 2 x 49,800 DWT Class Crude Oil / Product Oil / Chemical Tanker ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd of Hong Kong.

Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore.

Keel Laying of 113K crude oil tanker at COSCO Zhoushan

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying ceremony of 113,000 crude oil tanker at Zhoushan COSCO,

China, Hull No. N756, the second unit 113,000 DWT crude oil tanker ordered by Union maritime, UK.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Marshal Island flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 26th August 2021.

Steel Cutting of 50K and 110K DWT Tankers at Bihar International

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of four vessels – 2 x 50,000 DWT MR2 and 2 x 110,000 DWT LR2 Tankers, Hull No. 0405004/05 and 0311109/10 respectively at New Times Shipbuilding, China.

This is a series of 4 vessels ordered by Bihar International Company, UAE. The vessels will be classed by ABS and built to Liberian flag requirements. Deliveries are scheduled between October and November 2021.

Launching of 113K crude oil tanker at COSCO Zhoushan

SMC is pleased to announce Launching ceremony of 113,000 DWT, Hull No. N755 at Zhoushan COSCO heavy industries Ltd,

China. the first unit 113,000 DWT crude oil tanker ordered by Union marine Ltd, UK.

The vessel will be classed by LR and built to Marshal Island flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 15th April 2021.
