SMC is pleased to announce that Delivery Ceremony of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. OC325K-6 (mv “ORE ZHOUSHAN”) at Qingdao Beihai Shipyard, China. This is the last unit from a series of six VLOC325K ordered by ICBC&CMES, China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The vessel will be departure from BSIC on 17 March 2021.

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 174,000 m³ LNG, Hull No. SN 2336 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the first vessel in the series of 3 x 174,000 m³ LNG ordered by Meridian 23/24 & Jupiter 3 Limited.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements. The vessel scheduled for delivery on 31 December 2021.

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 62, 000 DWT MPV, Hull No. JLZ9200402 at Jinling Shipyard, China. This is the second unit from the series of four heavy lift multi-purpose vessels ordered by China Merchants.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Hongkong flag requirements. The vessel scheduled for delivery on 20 January 2022.

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 119,900 DWT crude/product oil tanker, Hull No. 20110003 at GSI, China. This is the first vessel in series of eight vessels ordered by Bank of Communications Financial leasing.

The vessel will be classed by DNV&GL and built to Marshall Islands flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 30^th April 2022.

SMC is pleased to announce Launching of 49,800 DWT class crude oil / product oil / chemical tanker, Hull No. S1923 at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea. This is the second unit from a series of two MR tankers ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd of Hong Kong.

Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore.

SMC is pleased to report that an Appreciation Banner of “Gold supervision team” along with a Letter of Appreciation was awarded by Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard in recognition of the quality supervision services provided during the construction of 208K Bulk Carrier Project.

During the delivery of the No. 9 vessel of 208K Bulk Carrier series, Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard appreciated the supervision team’s work ethic of “not only adhering to the principle, but also finding and solving problems in time”.

Vessel’s delivery on 5^th Feb 2021, was achieved in a very short span of 31 days from launching to delivery. This rare feat was made possible by advancing the post-launching activities to the pre-launching stage which included commissioning of Diesel generators, Boilers, and Purifiers. Even Lightweight Measurement Test was completed in the dry dock on the day of Launching itself.

SMC is pleased to announce Launching of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. H1519 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, China. It is the second vessel from the series of four such bulk carriers ordered by CITIC Commodities, Singapore.

The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Hongkong flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th April 2021.

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 2,700 TEU container vessel, mv “Singapore”, Hull No: YZJ2015-2024 at New Yangzi Shipyard, China. This is the third unit from the series of 3 X 2,700 TEU Container vessels ordered by SITC, China.

This vessel will be classed by DNV-GL and build to Hong Kong flag requirements. The naming ceremony was held on 15^th January 2021

SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. N980 and N981 at Yangzhou COSCO Shipbuilding, China. This is the first and second vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Shandong Shipping Bulk Co., Limited.

The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 28 December 2021 and 21 March 2022.

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of P&O ropax 1,500 vessels, Hull No. 19121007, 19121008 and 19121009 at GSI, China. The vessels were ordered by P&O Ferries.

The vessels will be classed by DNV-GL. Scheduled to be delivered as follows: 19121007 on 23^rd Sep 2022, 19121008 on 23rd Mar 2023 and delivery date of 19121009 to be confirmed.
