Steel Cutting of 12,500 DWT Multipole Purpose Vessel at Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 12,500 DWT Multi-Purpose Vessel (Hull No. SF230201) under its supervision at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co., Ltd, China. This is the first vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Krey Schiffahrts Gmbh & Co. Kg. & Auerbach Schiffahrts Gmbh & Co. Kg, Germany.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Portugal flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled to be delivered on 30 June 2025.
Naming Ceremony of 62,000 DWT MPV at Taizhou Kou’an Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Naming Ceremony for a 62,000 DWT Multipole Purpose Vessel (BOYM) under its supervision at Taizhou Kou’an Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, China. This is the last vessel in a series of two ordered by Pusheng Shipping (Hong Kong) Limited, China.
The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel was scheduled for 31 July 2024.
Keel Laying of Commissioning Service Operation Vessel at Ulstein Verft AS
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying ceremony for Commissioning Service Operation Vessel Hull No. YN322 under its supervision at Ulstein Shipyard, Crist yard, Poland. This is the first vessel in a series of two ordered by Alpha 4 Limited.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to NIS flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 1Q of 2026.
Steel Cutting of 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose Vessel at Chengxi Shipyard
SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose Vessel (Hull No. CX9611) under its supervision at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the eleventh vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 16 May 2025.
Delivery of 174,000 m3 LNGC at SHI
SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 174,000 m3 LNG carrier, Hull No. SN2600 (mv “Venture Bayou”) at SHI, Korea. This is the third vessel in a series of six vessels ordered by Bermuda based companies, UK.
The vessel is classed by ABS and built to Liberia flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 31 July 2024.
Delivery of 588 TEU Container at Xinle Shipbuilding
“SINAR PANGANDARAN”) at Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd, China. This is the second vessel in a series of four vessels (588 TEU*2 vessels + 696 TEU*2vessels) ordered by PT Perusahaan Pelayaran Nusantara Panurjwan, Indonesia.
The vessel has been Classed by BV and built to Panama flag requirements.
Keel Laying of 64,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at NACKS
SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying of 64,000 DWT Bulk Carrier (Hull No. NE445) at Nantong COSCO Kawasaki Ship Engineering CO. Ltd, China. This is the first vessel in a series of two ordered by OBE Ships Maritime SA Dubai, UAE.
The vessel will be classed by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and built to Panama flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for November 2024.
Launching ceremony of SEU 350ft at China Merchants Jinling Weihai Shipyard
On July 23, 2024, the 3rd (RAWABI 610) and 4th (RAWABI 611) DP2, self-propelled, 350 feet self-elevating Unit (JUB), the last 2 of the series of four units currently under the approved plan and supervision of the Schulte Marine Concept, built for Rawabi Vallianz Offshore Services, have been successfully launched to water.
The collaboration of this construction was between CTW Tianjin Offshore Services, Hamilton Offshore Services and Rawabi Vallianz Offshore Services at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Weihai (CMJL).
The two units will be classified with SMART notation and due for delivery in Q4 2024.

Keel Laying of two 66,000 DWT Bulk Carriers at Penglai Shipyard
SMC is pleased to announce that Keel Laying of two 66,000 DWT Shallow Draft Bulk Carriers at PengLai ZhongBai JingLu Ship Industry Co., Ltd, China. These are the first two of a series of three ordered by PTGLS, Indonesia. The Vessels are specially designed to load 25,000 tons of copper concentrates at a shallow draft of 6.20m.
The Vessels will be classed by ABS and built to LIBERIA flag requirements; the first two are scheduled to be delivered on December 2024.

SMC is pleased to announce Keel Laying of 62,000 DWT Heavy-lift Multi-purpose vessel, Hull No. CX9606 at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (Yangzhou), China. This is the sixth vessel in a series of twelve ordered by Bank of Communications Financials Leasing Co., Ltd, China.
The vessel will be classed by CCS and built to Liberia flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 19 November 2024.
