Launching of 325,000 DWT VLOC at BSIC

SMC is pleased to announce Launching of 325,000 DWT VLOC, Hull No. OC325K-6 at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, China. This is last vessel in a series of six vessels order by ICBC Leasing, China and China Merchants, China.

The vessel will be classed by ABS and CCS and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The vessel will be delivered on beginning of February 2021 as per yard’s present production schedule.

Launching of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier at SWS

SMC is pleased to announce Launching of 210,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. H1518 at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard, China. This is the second vessel from the series of four such bulk carriers ordered by CITIC Commodities, Singapore.

The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Hongkong flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled on 28th January 2021.

Launching of 2,700 TEU container ship at New Yangzi

SMC is pleased to announce Launching Ceremony of Hull No. YZJ2015-2024 at New Yangzi Shipyard, China. This is the 3rd unit from the series of 3 x 2,700 TEU container ship ordered by SITC International Holdings, China.

This vessel will be classed by DNV&GL and built to Hong Kong flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 28th February 2021.

Delivery of mv “SHEKOU”-2,400 TEU container ship

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery Ceremony of Hull No: YZJ2015-2013, (mv “SHEKOU”) at New Yangzi Shipyard, China. This is the last unit from the series of 6 x 2,400 TEU container ship ordered by SITC International Holdings, China.

This vessel will be classed DNV GL, scheduled to be delivered on 18th November 2020.

Launching of MR Tanker for Island Navigation

SMC is pleased to announce the Launching of Hull No. S1922 at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Korea, the first unit from a series of 2 x 49,800 DWT Class Crude Oil / Product Oil / Chemical Tanker ordered by Island Navigation Corporation International., Ltd, Hong Kong.

Technical management of the vessel will be by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) of Singapore.

Delivery of mv “World Voyager” at West Sea

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 200 Pax Explorer Vessel (mv” World Voyager”) at West Sea Shipyard, Portugal. This is the second 200 Pax Explorer Vessel from a series of six vessels built for Mystic Cruises, Portugal.

The vessel was classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Madeira flag requirements.

Delivery of 39K bulk carrier (mv “FRANZ SCHULTE”) at TKS

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 39,900 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. TK1031 (mv “FRANZ SCHULTE”) at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Bernhard Schulte, Germany.

The vessel was classed by LR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The naming ceremony was held on 23 October 2020.

Delivery of mv “Franz Schulte” – 39k DWT bulk carrier

SMC is pleased to announce Delivery of 39,000 DWT bulk carrier, Hull No. TK1031 (mv “Franz Schulte”), at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding, China. This is the third vessel in a series of four vessels ordered by Bernhard Schulte, Germany.

The vessel was classed by LR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The naming ceremony was held on 23rd October 2020.

The vessel will be classed by BV and built to Hongkong flag requirements. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30th April 2021.
