Naming of 636,00 DWT Bulk Carrier at COSCO Zhou Shan shipyard

SMC is delighted to announce the Naming ceremony for a 63,600 DWT bulk carrier [EMERALD QUSHAN] under its supervision at COSCO SHPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) Co., Limited, China. This is the third vessel in a series of three ordered by Hong Kong Zhoushan Yi Hai Shipping Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by CCS Register and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 12 November 2024.

Delivery of 65,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipyard

SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery Ceremony for a 65,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. B65K-5) under its supervision at DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipyard, China. This is the fifth vessel in a series of ten ordered by CHN ENERGY Group Shipping Co., Ltd.

The vessel will be classed by CCS Register and built to China flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 08 November 2024.

Launching of 211,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at COSCO (Yangzhou) Shipyard

SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony for a 211,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. N1158) under its supervision at COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou), China. This is the second vessel in a series of two ordered by Xiehai Bulk Shipping Pte, Ltd.

The vessel classed by ABS Register and built to Singapore flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

Delivery of 174,000 m3 LNG Carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries

SMC is delighted to announce the Delivery for a 174,000 m3 LNG Carrier (Hull no. SN2596) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the vessel ordered by Astra 11 Limited, Bermuda.

The vessel was classed by ABS and built to Republic of Liberia flag requirements and port of registry has been changed to Marseille upon delivery.

Launching of 64,000 DWT Bulk Carrier at NACKS

SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying for a 64,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No. NE446) under its supervision at Nantong COSCO Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co. Ltd, China. This is the second vessel in a series of two vessels ordered by OBE Ships Maritime SA Dubai, UAE.

The vessel will be classed by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai [NK] and built to Panama flag requirements,

scheduled to be delivered on 15 January 2025.

Keel Laying of 13,200 TEU Container Vessel at SHI

SMC is delighted to announce the Keel Laying ceremony for an 13,200 TEU container vessel (Ship No.SN2628) under its supervision at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea. This is the eleventh vessel in a series of thirteen vessels ordered by Wan Hai Line Ltd, Taiwan.

The vessel will be classed by ABS & CR and built to Singapore flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 01 April 2025.

Steel Cutting of NOCC 7,000 PCTC at Longkou CIMC Shipyard

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting ceremony for NOCC 7,000 PCTC

Hull No. H610 under its supervision at Longkou CIMC Shipyard, China. This is the First vessel in a series of three ordered by NOCC Norwegian Car Carriers AS.

The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Norway Flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 30 November 2025.
