Steel Cutting of 49,500 DWT Methanol Dual Fuel Chemical/Product Oil Tanker at GSI

SMC is delighted to announce the Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 49,500 DWT methanol dual fuel chemical/product oil tanker (Hull No. 23110028) under its supervision at Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd, China. This is the third vessel in a series of six ordered by Bermuda based companies.

The vessel will be classed by Bureau Veritas and built to Liberia flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 29 January 2026.
