Steel Cutting of 174,000 m3 LNG Carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries
SMC is pleased to announce Steel Cutting of a 174,000 m3 LNG carrier, Hull No. SN2694 at Samsung Heavy Industries, Geoje Shipyard, Korea. This is the first vessel in a series of six vessels ordered by China Merchants Energy Shipping.
The vessel will be classed by DNV and built to Hong Kong SAR flag requirements, scheduled to be delivered on 16 November 2026.
