Launching ceremony of mv ”Dolce Vita”

SMC is pleased to report launching ceremony in Jiangyin Chengxi Shipyard, China: of mv ”Dolce Vita”, Hull No. CX366, the second unit from the series of 2×38,800 DWT Bulk Carrier ordered by Aquavita International.
Vessel’s principal particulars: LOA = 179.95m, B = 32.2m, D = 15m, T d/s = 9.50/10.50m. Propelled by Wartsila 5RT-flex 50-D Tier II developing 6,100 KW x 99 rpm at NCR the vessel will operate at the speed of 13.8 knots. All vessels in the series are classed by DNV and will be built to Marshall Island flag requirements.
Classification notes: DNV +1A1 Bulk Carrier, ESP, CSR, BC-A, Holds 2,4 may be empty, HA(+), ICE-1C, GRAB[20], DG-B, BIS, TMON, BWM-T, CLEAN, ED, COAT-PSPC(B), Recyclable.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 8th June 2015.
