SMC is pleased to report Steel Cutting Ceremony at RMK Maine Shipyard, TURKİYE of Ro-Ro NEOLINE (Hull No. NB128) equipped with SOLID SAİLS. The vessel was ordered by French shipowner NEOLİNE.
The ceremony was held on 8th November, with attendees from NEOLINE – Mr. JEAN ZANUTTİNİ (CEO), Mr. ADRİEN SİMONET (Development Manager) and Mr. BLANDİNE RUESH (Communication Manager), and representatives from France Consulate Commercial Trading Department.
The vessel is propelled by ABC16DZC, and capable to carry 5000 tones’ cargo (265TEU or 125FEU). During sailing,80 to 90% of power will be supplied by 2 solid sails rigging system. Engines shall comply with IMO/TIER III requirements, and MARPOL rules and BWM-T notation will be followed. It shall consider the corresponding IMO recommendations, about ship recycling and provide a Green Passport at the delivery of vessel.
Vessel is classed by BV will be built to France flag requirements.
Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for June 2025.
